Women have contributed to building and developing society effectively throughout history and still do, which means that they must be respected and honored with the right to be honored, and their rights in society are guaranteed in order to achieve and protect their material and psychological stability, fulfill their demands and take care of them. Civilizations do not build and do not prosper without the hands of women.
The OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center, headed by Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed, was and still is against gender-based violence, and frankly against violence directed at women in general, which is any act or behavior that is hostile, harmful or humiliating committed by any means , the right of any girl or woman, because she is female, that creates for her physical or psychological suffering, directly or indirectly, and through deception, threat, exploitation, harassment, coercion, punishment, or forcing her into prostitution or any other means, and an insult to her human dignity, or moral integrity, diminishing the security of her person, her self-respect or her personality, or diminishing her mental and physical capabilities, ranging from verbal insult to murder .
