His Highness welcomed the members of the delegation and wished them a pleasant stay in the Emirates And His Highness pointed out that the activities, programs and initiatives implemented during this year enhance awareness of the value of tolerance A document of human fraternity Which is one of the most important and most prominent initiatives of the Year of Tolerance, and it represents a solid basis and a major reference for work in the coming years to build the pillars of coexistence between different peoples
His Highness made clear that tolerance is a value rooted throughout the history of the UAE and its culture since ancient times, and said: “We will go forward in carrying the message of tolerance and work for it on the regional and international arenas.”
And His Highness indicated that parliaments have an important and fundamental role in building bridges of coexistence and understanding between peoples because they express the pulse of these peoples and their desire for development, peace and stability.
Ahmed bin Muhammad Al Jarwan, President of the World Council for Tolerance and Peace, received in Abu Dhabi a group of presidents, members of national and regional parliaments, and members of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace from around the world.
Al-Jarwan welcomed the visiting delegations from around the world to the United Arab Emirates, “the oasis of tolerance and peace,” as evidenced by the gathering and love of all countries of the world for the leadership and people of the Emirates, which has become a role model in international tolerance.
The President of the World Council for Tolerance and Peace praised the efforts and support of the participants to spread and uphold the values of tolerance and peace around the world, and appreciated the efforts of the members of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and their continued sincere work for a safer and more peaceful world.
According to the agenda, about 70 presidents and members of parliament from various continents and countries of the world will visit the UAE, to celebrate the Year of Tolerance, and guests are scheduled to make several field visits to Abu Dhabi city, including the Louvre Museum, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Karama Oasis.
His Excellency Dr. Taghreed Zuhdi Muhammad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ofuq alsalam alduwali-osd Center, expressed her happiness at the great positive resonance that the “Year of Tolerance” brought to the international scene.
Her Excellency valued the role of His Excellency Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Jarwan, President of the International Council for Tolerance and Peace, which works hard to tolerate tolerance and peace among all sects of the world, with their different nationalities and religious beliefs.
