A night when the sorrows of the beloved, peace be upon him, were washed away after a year of grief; O Allah, as you made it the night of joy and pleasure entering his honorable heart, peace be upon him, after his long grief, then make it a night of joy and happiness for his nation, and make it an end to every sadness and pain that resides in our hearts and a beginning to redress our thoughts after a long wait.
