According to UNICEF, child marriage deprives girls of their childhood and threatens their lives and health. Girls who marry before they reach the age of 18 are more vulnerable to domestic violence and less likely to stay in school. They also suffer from worse economic and health problems than their unmarried peers, which are eventually passed on to their children and increase pressure on the country’s ability to provide quality health and education services.
Lack of intellectual awareness, failure to realize the consequences of this phenomenon, and understanding things in a way that is different from what they are in reality leads to the spread of this phenomenon, and this is due to their imbalance in their belief that the marriage of underage girls is their protection, and in reality this matter is not true, as it is considered a destruction of the innocence of children, Because of their immaturity, and their understanding of the true meaning of marriage and the heavy burdens and responsibilities that follow
