Her Excellency Dr. Taghrid , member of the Friends of Arthritis Society, participated with the members of the society and its president, Her Excellency Wahida Abdel Aziz, in honoring the winners of the marathon. The Society of Friends of Arthritis Patients is a voluntary social association, emanating from the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and headed by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, and Supreme President of the Council. Founded in 2009 AD, this association aims to spread health awareness among segments of society about joint diseases, their symptoms and treatment methods, provide financial support to needy patients and support the joint diseases unit.
