Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed, Founder and President of the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center, Member of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and Sustainable Development / United Nations, participated in the celebrations of the United Arab Emirates and the countries of the world on the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on the twenty-first of February every year. UNESCO announced the International Mother Language Day during its General Conference in November 1999, while this day has been celebrated annually since February 2000 in order to promote cultural diversity and multilingualism

In an intervention by Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed , founder and head of the International Peace Horizon Center, with Al Wahda newspaper on page eight, under the title / The Emirates leads qualitative efforts to preserve Arabic / Simplifying classical Arabic for all speakers / she said that the mother tongue is the language in which a person grows up, and some researchers defined it as the mother tongue and the family language, while others defined it as the dominant language in the mind of the speaker over the rest of the languages, thus it is considered the mother in terms of comparing it to the rest of the languages, as we say the mothers of books, meaning the source books.
Her Excellency confirmed that many researchers in the Arabic language believe that the colloquial is an enemy of classical Arabic, while the colloquial is a synonym and a level of the levels of the language, indicating that What is required is to simplify classical Arabic for all its speakers, otherwise it will be abandoned and become the language of specific groups. The real challenge is for it to become the language of daily life
