Child_protection_is_everyone’s_responsibility#
Yesterday was the tragedy of the Moroccan child, #Rayan, which occupied the whole world for five days. Many of us did not taste sleep or rest, and the end was tragic.
Today, we hear about the tragedy of the Syrian child #Fawaz_Qutayfan, who was kidnapped and subjected to various kinds of torture to pressure his parents to pay the ransom, and we do not know yet what the end will be.
Tomorrow we will hear about the tragedy of a child somewhere on the face of the earth. Why are children always the ones who pay the price for the mistakes of adults? Do you think this falls under the umbrella of negligence, inattention, or …………….
Do you think that a child was run over in the street by a drunk driver or a child was killed by a stray bullet during the celebration or … or … or … this we include because of our ignorance under one of the umbrellas that we make to hide our shortcomings.
We follow on social media that there is a child who lost his life while being punished with beatings by his father, mother or one of his relatives. How long will we remain silent?
Why do we not apply the standards of child protection, the most important of which is the care, protection and upbringing of the child in the first place from his parents and after them the school, the street and the community, or will we remain indifferent and uninterested .
Why not launch an initiative at the level of the Arab world, but at the world level, and its slogan is #Protecting_Child_Responsibility_Everyone, and here we are at the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center from the United Arab Emirates, launching this initiative, hoping that everyone will volunteer to support it and participate in it.
We ask everyone to share the post to spread the initiative.
