The UAE will host the annual United Nations COP28 conference from November 30 to December 12, 2023, in which states parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (FCCC) will participate, in addition to thousands of experts, journalists, climate activists and individuals. Local communities, business representatives, and non-governmental groups
The United Arab Emirates was chosen to host this international conference due to the country’s tireless efforts to improve ways to confront the climate crisis, whose negative impact on human rights around the world is increasing.
This conference coincided with the efforts made by the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates in helping the brothers of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and these efforts are crystallized in the Emirates field hospital, which was established and is working in to provide urgent health aid. The Emirates also provided humanitarian aid of all kinds to alleviate their suffering.
