Humanitarian work is one of the most important works that show a person’s values, his vision of life, and how he can use his energy and knowledge to serve others, without any financial compensation. It gives a person a set of health benefits for his mind and body, the most important of which is that it helps reduce any type of negative feelings; such as tension, anxiety, and anger, in addition to fighting depression and increasing the feeling of happiness, as researchers have discovered that helping others gives the individual pleasure and a great feeling of happiness
Because it encourages friendliness and cohesion among members of the same society, and voluntary humanitarian work plays a major role in improving the social and economic lives of people, and provides opportunities for positive contribution and achieving good because the relationship between it and building and developing society is a direct relationship, so we find that the more voluntary humanitarian work increases, the more progress, development and prosperity the society increases, and it becomes more cohesive
