Under the patronage of Sheikh Humaid bin Khalid bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Honorary President of the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center for Peace in Dubai, the center was organized in cooperation with the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club and the Fakhr Al Watan Voluntary Society at noon on Saturday, August 27. At the club’s headquarters, coinciding with the UAE’s celebration of “Emirati Women’s Day” in honor of the march of giving and achievement led by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, and President of the Supreme Council for Women. Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation “Mother of the Emirates” to enable Emirati women to reach the highest levels of excellence and success, and to enhance their participation in consolidating the UAE’s position as a role model. For growth, leadership and development, and during the ceremony, a selection of Emirati and Arab personalities will be honored, in appreciation of their generous role in supporting the development process in the country.
The celebration began from Al Dhaid Sports Stadium, by designing an artistic painting using agricultural seedlings and roses as an oasis of creativity for the emblem of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima (Mother of the Emirates) and gifting it to Her Highness, in honor of the path of giving and achievement led by Her Highness to enable Emirati women to reach the highest levels of excellence and success, and to enhance their participation in consolidating the position of The UAE as a role model for growth, leadership and development
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ma’aded bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Sheikh Sultan bin Nasser bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Surur bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Sheikha Mariam bint Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, Sheikha Lamis bint Hamad bin Ali Al Mualla, and HE Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi.
