Mr. Ahmed Al Mail, Director of the Social Services Department in Sharjah, stated that the Social Services Department, through the Sharjah Age-Friendly City Office, has highlighted the efforts made to serve the elderly since 2017, the date when the Emirate of Sharjah was named the first Arab city to join the Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities, as well as its contributions in transferring its experiences and knowledge to various Arab countries, and urging them to participate in the Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities
