The Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace organized the second international conference for leaders of humanitarian and voluntary work in the GCC countries, which was hosted by the United Arab Emirates in the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sheraton Hotel last Saturday, on the occasion of the revival of the UAE National Day and the celebration of the leaders of humanitarian and voluntary work in the countries of the Cooperation Council Gulf
The celebration began with the arrival of Sheikh Sultan bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Sheikha Azza Abdullah Al-Nuaimi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Surour Al-Sharqi. They were received by His Excellency Engineer Tariq Anani, Secretary General of the Society, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Nahhas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace, His Excellency Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed, General Coordinator of the Society, and Professor Rasha Khalil
Also present were His Excellency Dr. Omran Al-Halami, His Excellency Ambassador Abdullah bin Zaher Al-Hosani, His Excellency Eng. Dr. Ahmed Abu Ajila, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al-Falasi, Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Salem Al-Hammadi, His Excellency Butti Ahmed Garwash Saeed, His Excellency Khaled Ahmed Youssef Khoury, the distinguished media doctor Suhair Al-Ghanam, Professor Minya Al-Salmi and Professor Ali Haider
As a humanitarian gesture from the Norwegian Society, the late Goodwill Ambassador Muhammad Al-Othman from the State of Kuwait was honored, and his wife, Dr. Maha Al-Hashash, received the honor.
The honoring ceremony was also attended by a large group of goodwill ambassadors of the association. The ceremony began with the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, then fragrant verses from the Holy Quran Followed by the speech of the Secretary-General of the Society, Engineer Tariq Anani, welcoming the sheikhs and attendees, congratulating the United Arab Emirates on the National Day, then a speech by Dr. Muhammad Al-Nahhas .
Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed, Head of the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center and General Coordinator of the Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace, participated and delivered a speech at its inception, welcoming His Excellency Eng. Tariq Anani, Secretary General of the Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace And the honorable participants in the Second International Conference of Leaders of Humanitarian and Voluntary Work in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries. At the end of the conference, Her Excellency Dr. Taghrid was honored with the conference shield.
In her turn, Her Excellency Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed, Head of the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center, General Coordinator of the Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace, thanked His Excellency Eng. Tariq Anani, Secretary General of the Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace, for this honor.
Finally, Dr. Bushra Ghulam Murad participated in a paper on the role of humanitarian organizations in developing the capacities of local communities in areas affected by disasters, crises and unrest.
Dr. Ali Baadaam participated in a paper on feeding the community with cultural, social and sports aspects to make it a means in the arena of urbanization and urbanization, and the Light Councils in Hadramout are a vivid example of that.
Dr. Wafa Aziz from the Republic of Iraq, the goodwill ambassador of the association, was assigned as chairperson of the Board of Elders.
In conclusion, leaders of humanitarian and voluntary work in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and some personalities from the Arab Republic of Egypt were honored. Then honoring the ambassadors of the association in the Arab countries who left a clear mark in the humanitarian work and installing new ambassadors and a special honor for the guests .
Finally, His Excellency Ambassador Abdullah bin Zaher Al Hosani made an intervention in which he thanked the United Arab Emirates and its President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and their Highnesses the Sheikhs, the Rulers of the Emirates. He thanked Eng. Tariq and the Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace for the good reception and honor, hoping that the next conference will be in brotherly Amman, God willing.
